Modern Home Design concepts in Nepal

The city of Dnipro, near Ukraine’s Dnieper River, has an industrial history but also expansive parks on its outskirts—an area in which a young couple wished to build a new house. They turned to Svoya Studio. “We wanted to combine modern design with natural materials, which is perfect for this location,” says cofounder and designer Denis Sokolov, who headed up design for the two-bedroom, 2,100-square-foot home. “The clients came in with a very good configuration, which had made it possible to create a comfortable plan of functional zones.”

These included a living room with striking views of a garden, a secret door to the handsome office, and a fireplace with three-point orientation for maximum views. A rich emerald green deepens the otherwise neutral palette of white, grey, and ash wood. Everything was going according to plan, including a guest room with a roped-off balcony. And then came the joyful surprise of a second child—with a room awaiting his or her arrival.
